Hi, I found the same bug on my HP nx6325 notebook. I run Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn 64bit on AMD Turion 64 X2. ~$ uname -a Linux laptop 2.6.20-12-generic #2 SMP Sat Mar 17 22:55:16 UTC 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux
When I wanted to see screensaver preview on fullscreen it crashed and my display got black and I couldn't no anything just hard restart with power button. This happened not anly with twoo diffret screensavers (and didn't want to try more;)). Hope this can help or I can send some more information if needed.
