Public bug reported:
When I add the Main Menu panel applet to my feisty laptop install, I get a tiny
(one or two pixels) entry appear on the panel, but it doesn't seem to work and
has to be killed manually. I have purged the package and re-installed it, with
no difference in behaviour.
FWIW, my panel is 24 pixels high, but making it bigger doesn't seem to change
anything.
