** Changed in: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Description changed: I normally nearly always hibernate my system. This was working well before and after I upgraded from Karmic to lucid RC (except for a presumably unrelated cursor glitch https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- ati/+bug/564423). Then suddenly, on May 1st, my system stopped resuming from hibernate, always starting fresh (and with the network always disabled after an attempt to hibernate). From the Synaptic history, I suspect it could be related to the initramfs-tools updated from 0.92bubuntu77 to 0.92bubuntu78, or an accompanying change around that time. I had initially reported this in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/499940, from which I learned I am not the only one to experience this problem. I was asked to submit another bug, so here it is. I'm willing to help debugging the resume process. What info should I collect?
