"subprocess installed post-installation"
It is an error with a debian/ubuntu script.

I also got an error by trying to use setup.py (python setuptool), it was
related to "update-mime" subprocess 0002621:0012027

We need more informations.
What is the subprocess used by the packager ?

Jerome, do you have a Launchpad account? That's the best place for the
questions, otherwise I'll have to forward them there. The reporter is not
subscribed to this bug. If you don't have an account there then please write an
explanation of how to get the information you need. I'll repost it downstream.

This is not a gramps bug, but a packager bug, so it should go to the packager
of gramps for ubuntu. I'm afraid though they just copy over the debian scripts.

pycentral provides support for installing python modules independent of the
current installed Python version and handling byte-compilation and -removal
tasks in installation scripts.

It sounds rather to be an issue with python-central.

hmm, there is no error there, it is a doc string. I have no experience with
pycentral or why it would complain in that file.
