Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Description:    Ubuntu 10.10
Release:        10.10

pulseaudio:
  Installato: 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu21.1

Looking at /var/log/pm-suspend.log I notice a suspected behavior of
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio prior to suspension:
..
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/00powersave suspend suspend: success.
Running hook /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio suspend suspend:
Welcome to PulseAudio! Use "help" for usage information.
>>> >>> Welcome to PulseAudio! Use "help" for usage information.
>>> >>> Welcome to PulseAudio! Use "help" for usage information.
>>> >>>
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio suspend suspend: success.

Seems that pulseaudio is called in interactive mode.

** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
