Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Can you check to see if there are any log files in
"/var/log/installer/"? Perhaps boot up with a Live CD and navigate to
the HDD that Ubuntu is installed on and search for "/var/log/installer".
If you locate any logs, attach them to this bug report. Also attach any
Xorg.0.log located in "/var/log/". Thanks in advance.
