Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

My laptop, a Thinkpad T500, includes a wireless broadband card with AGPS
(assisted GPS) features. In Lucid Lynx, Firefox was able to use that
hardware to share my location with services such as Google Maps. Since
upgrading to Meerkat, it has become unable to determine my location.

I'm sorry I'm not sure exactly what underlying library finds the
location, or how to do a more exact report of the problem, but if you
give me instructions on diagnosing the issue, I'd be happy to follow
them.
