Hi Otus,
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I've tested out the situation you're describing, but
after going to the Preferences dialog to change the default download
directory and turn off the options dialog, subsequent torrents that I
add get saved to the new default download directory. So I'm not seeing
the behavior you're describing.
Are you sure that you set the default download directory in the
Preferences dialog, rather than in the Torrent Options dialog? When you
pop up a new Torrent Options dialog it will remember the directory it
used last time.
If that's not the problem, please answer these questions:
* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
This will help us to find and resolve the problem.
