Binary package hint: xfce4-terminal
xubuntu feisty fawn (amd64 and i386) with latest updates as of 4/4/2007.
Open xfce4-terminal, and press ctrl-t to create a new tab. the new tab
will initially be just a blank, black screen, and will not show the
command prompt. If you switch to the original tab, and then switch back
to the new tab, the command prompt appears.
It's a simple workaround, but this should be fixed if possible. Thanks!
