I should note some further observations: First of all, see the word "software" in the second line for the 'Mouse selection' picture. This example is actually quite tame. I really can't see what I'm typing properly most of the time. In fact, the last line in the picture (should be the same as the line above it) attached to this comment is the norm.
When I press enter, or when I do things that appear to cause a redraw, normal text returns. I've seen blinking, outlined, and bold text appear, and not directly under the cursor while typing. Underscores have ended up in odd places. I did test putting my secondary monitor under my laptop monitor, and I could not reproduce the problem. This also makes me think that this is related to the libdrm framebuffer fixes that came in this week. ** Attachment added: "Picture: Errors when typing" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/665313/+attachment/1707298/+files/IMAG0189.jpg -- corrupted test in emacs mouse select with 2 displays https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/665313 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
