Same problem here with GeForce2 MX100/200.
The resolution can only get up to 800x600 while the "nv" driver can do
1280x1024.
By editing my xorg.conf I got it working again for [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
Section "Monitor"
Option "HorizSync" "30-82"
Option "VertRefresh" "56-76"
EndSection
These were the values my "nv" driver reported and also seems to work
with the "nvidia" driver
