Hello, the problem here is the bio-linux-seaview package. Since it is added downstream of Ubuntu, we (the Debian maintainers who made the Ubuntu package) can not prevent file conflicts. Given that currently the version of Seaview is higher in Ubuntu than in Bio-Linux, I would simply recommend to remove bio-linux-seaview if possible.
Do you mind if I close this bug, or would you like to keep it open until an update of Bio Linux eventually resolves the problem?
