Anugerah, try to pass "auto" model to snd-hda-intel driver. I use customized 2.6.36 kernel (no modules) on Gentoo.
If Ubuntu kernel use snd-hda-intel as module, try this in module configuration file (/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base ?). Then reboot or restart alsa: options snd-hda-intel model=auto Hope this helps, Tomas --- Possible regression in ALSA, so I reported this (https://bugtrack.alsa- project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=5176). ** Bug watch added: ALSA Bug Tracker #5176 https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=5176 -- [IDT 92HD81B1X5] ALSA test tone not correctly played back, no sound after ALSA + Kernel upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/665230 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
