I agree with psarhjinian & maybe [email protected]. Suggest it's different with usb-creator.exe. I built a USB stick from 10.10 with the included usb-creator.exe on XP & when booting on a Dell Inspiron 1545 it just sits at the "SYSLINUX 3.82 ... et al" line. Note that there is no boot prompt, just a flashing cursor & it doesn't respond to the k/b (except ctrl-alt-del). Also usb-creator didn't accept an ISO image, had to mount it in Windows first. Wanted to use it to fix a problem with Windows on the laptop. Tried Fedora 13 first but that fails in a different way. No steps forward, 2 steps back. Jeebus.
