Hello Fabio,
Thank you for your effort in very promptly investigating this symptom.
This machine is, at the moment, used specifically for testing and
therefore has no important personal data stored.
Thanks to the community's talented coders, I successfully run Ubuntu and
Mint almost faultlessly on other Lenovo/Thinkpad machines.
If you have time to suggest what I should do next, I would be grateful.
