I've split this into two bugs - one to have the time displayed on the lock screen (this bug), and the other about volume up/down is basically bug #18415.
** Summary changed: - Screensaver should display time and allow volume control when screen is locked + Screensaver should display time when screen is locked ** Description changed: - When you have the option to lock screen in the screen-saver is activated, it would be useful to have the time and date display on the password widget (the one where you can leave notes). - I have also found it frustrating that with a locked screen volume and media keys in general don't respond, the effect of this is that you are coerced to login just to skip an ugly song, or worse to stop playback/kill volume to answer the phone. + When you have the option to lock screen in the screen-saver is + activated, it would be useful to have the time and date display on the + password widget (the one where you can leave notes). -- Screensaver should display time when screen is locked https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/409432 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
