Public bug reported: After an unsuccessful upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 to Ubuntu 10.10 (hibernation didn't work at all), I did a complete new install of Ubuntu 10.10 on my IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad t43p. Since then, the systems seems to have a very high power consumption in Hibernation.
Please see attached file: (1) Computer was removed from power while being Hibernated (btw it was fully charged when sent to hibernation some 12 hours before, so > 20% discharge in 12 hours (2) Computer has been woken up and used for some minutes and put to hibernation again (3) Computer has been woken up and used for some more minutes and put to hibernation again (4) Computer has been put back to power and woken up The rate hasn't been that high with Ubuntu 10.04 and before (I don't know since when I'm using Ubuntu on that machine. Maybe 7.04 or 7.10. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: acpi discharge hibernation power -- High power usage in hibernation mode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666455 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
