Binary package hint: desktop-effects
Continued from the original bug 89786:
After enabling the cube, and closing and reopening Desktop Effects, the cube is
disabled, and the number of workspaces is set to one, even though the box is
still checked.
Workaround: Uncheck the cube box, right click on the workspaces panel
applet, increase the number of workspaces to four, then re-enable the
cube.

Cube still broken, starting 'Desktop Effects' capplet with it enabled it
disables it and shrinks workspaces to 1
