Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
After reading all the hype about the new unity window manager, I thought I would see how it worked. I tried it briefly. During the trial, I used wxMaxima. The menu bar for that application was placed at the top like OS X does. When I went back to gnome, wxmaxima is now missing the menu altogether. It doesn't show up at all. I found some others complaining about this at: http://forum.nginx.org/read.php?26,139668,139668 I created a new account and tried wxmaxima and it still was missing the menu. I removed any package with unity in its name and still no menu. Any tips would be appreciated. I really would like the menu back.
