Binary package hint: update-manager
After upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 network printer HP LaserJet 3052
started printing one page only with text:
"**** Unable to open the initial device, quitting."
Before upgrade it works as well.
There's cupsd debug log in attachement.
Most important lines are 267 and 268:

server "hpijs"
I resolved the problem after installing hpijs:
apt-get install hpijs
** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
