I'm repurposing this bug to be about what to do when Duplicity returns a
value of 1. It should never happen under normal circumstances, and it
seems to do it mostly when there is a problem with the .cache folder.

My proposal is to detect an error of 1, delete the .cache/deja-dup
folder, then retry. This would solve a lot of similar issues.

** Project changed: duplicity => deja-dup

** Changed in: deja-dup
       Status: Opinion => Confirmed

** Summary changed:

- Deja Dup does not appear to gracefully recover from disk removed prematurely
during a backup
+ Delete cache and try again if duplicity returns 1

** Changed in: deja-dup
   Importance: Undecided => Medium

** Changed in: deja-dup
    Milestone: None => 18.0
