Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager In my Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick installation (and previously Ubuntu 09.10 Karmic and 10.04 Lucid), when requested to hibernate (from the power icon in the panel) the PC gets frozen: - the monitor is switched off; - the PC Power LED stays ON. Then, when I reboot the PC with the reset Hard-button, the audio is muted (according what the related panel icon says).
