Public bug reported: Binary package hint: language-selector
I was using Ubuntu 10.04. Now I`ve upgraded up to 10.10, though attached technical information could differ. I was solving some problems with OpenOffice (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language- selector/+question/128056), when I saw, that all system menus are in English (my system language was Russian). OpenOffice, Firefox and all non-GNOME applications remained in Russian. I`ve opened Language support, and the utility warned me, that "language-support-input-ru" is missing. I agreed to install, but have no success, because this package is not present in Ubuntu 10.04. I created a question about this problem, though you can see, how the problem evaluated, here https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /language-selector/+question/128056 (the problem had by far continuation) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: language-selector 0.6.6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-23.36-generic 2.6.35.7 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-23-generic i686 Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: a171c655b191924faf78f2c088617939 CheckboxSystem: 7d44c8a69b1ef3cd64144a94ba3b9242 Date: Sun Oct 31 00:51:49 2010 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=ru:ru_RU:en LANG=ru_RU.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: language-selector ** Affects: language-selector (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- offer to install "language-support-input-ru" by Language support in Ubuntu 10.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/668917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
