Eli, let's be precise: suspend to disk ("hibernate") fails, but suspend
to RAM ("suspend") works fine. Or is it different in your case?I wonder what it takes to get the attention of someone who knows how to tackle this problem. I know that Ubuntu is for free and it's great but still I would think that this is a rather serious regression issue for a release that is meant to be stable considering that it seems to affect many recent Thinkpad series and even other laptop brands according to the comments here. Like I said in the bug descreption: I would be glad to do anything I could to help fixing this, but I just don't have the knowledge and experience to know how to approach this. -- Hibernate fails on Thinkpads https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
