there was a commit around two days ago in the iwlwifi git that maybe will fix this problem, see here: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/iwlwifi/iwlwifi-2.6.git;a=commit;h=1c3a1973b2d7c46c886d243367dcc5988a4ef704 maybe it's related, maybe not, i found it searching a fix for the iwl3945 slow throughput.
