Public bug reported:

I recently upgraded some ubuntu-server systems from lucid to maverick
and whenever I login the motd still shows "Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS".

It shows "Ubuntu 10.10" directly underneath the output line of "uname
-a" information, but shows "Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS" below the system info
provided by landscape.

Also noticed that some messages (welcome message, landscape information)
are being output twice:

$ ssh my-server
Linux my-server 2.6.35-22-server #35-Ubuntu SMP Sat Oct 16 22:02:33 UTC 2010
x86_64 GNU/Linux
Ubuntu 10.10
