Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
Feisty Fawn 7.04 beta, updated daily. Added Medibuntu repositories for libdvdcss2. When I ran Totem through the Gui it would not play encrypted content. Ran totem via the terminal, got the following results: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ totem libdvdnav: Using dvdnav version 1.1.4 from http://xine.sf.net libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access libdvdread: Attempting to use device /dev/scd0 mounted on /media/cdrom0 for CSS authentication libdvdnav: Can't read name block. Probably not a DVD-ROM device. libdvdnav: Unable to find map file '/home/rob/.dvdnav/.map' libdvdnav: DVD disk reports itself with Region mask 0x00fe0000. On the suggestion of one forum member, I removed totem-gstreamer and installed totem-xine engine, same results. Error codes entered above are using totem-xine. I hope this is helpful to the community and not just to me.
