This appears to have been misfiled and forgotten. Ubiquity does not
have anything to do with generating menu.lst, nor does grub-installer,
nor do they have anything to do with each other. This seems to have
been a bug in grub legacy, which is no longer being developed and we
have moved to grub2 since Karmic, so I am closing this report.
