Yes. Now Hibernate works, which didn't before, and when resuming from 
hibernate, evrything is fine; but when shutting all the way down, I 
still have to unplug the usb hub, start the computer, log in, wait a few 
seconds, and then plug the usb hub back in. Also, if setting my computer 
to sleep, pressing a key will not wake it. I tried bypassing the usb 
extension cable and still get the same thing.

New changes to my system since first reporting the error:
I purchased a wireless keyboard/mouse combo so now have 2 keyboards (1 
wireless usb and 1 PS2) and 2 mice (both wireless) hooked up. The 
wireless keyboard doesn't work until after logging in (can't use for 
logging in) but works for logging back in from hibernate.
