I'll add my .xsession-errors later from home. One thing I've noticed which is way more damaging is that the .xsession- errors and .xsession-errors.old quickly fill up my home partition by repeatedly logging the same error. After about 15 mins the 19 gig free space in my home partition is gone causing all sorts of problems with software trying to save and read from their cache. Deleteing the .xsession-errors* solves the problem until I reboot.
