Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

About, one week ago, I decided to install Ubuntu 10.10 on my Mac (Intel 2 core
duo, 24"), I have made 2 partitions on my hard drive (1 with OSX + 1 with "")
with bootcamp. After a first successfull installlation of Ubuntu, just 2 or 3
days later, some many troubles began (like freeze or access denied to synaptic,
for example...before I just did the "mises à jour" proposed by Ubuntu and
installed "MeTV", that's all). I have reported that on the Ubuntu-org.fr/forum
but without any answer, I've tried to do a "new" install (again and again
because, it was really difficult to start it !) but, at least, the installation
began, and at the end I have had a message that it was unsuccessfull because of
a hard drive problem... so I did a hard drive test with my OSX cd and
everything allright but now it seems that the partition i'll have given to
Ubuntu is crashed !...What i have to do now ?????...I have the message to send
the attached files var/log, but no files because impossible too install !!!!!
forward to you, thanks
ps : excuse my english, if you can, send me your return in french !
