Argh! Sorry, I should have checked before! When debugging it turned out that Ekiga was using another device for the three events which I could not here.
So in Preferences: Audio: Devices I recognized that "Ringing Device" was set to "SILENT (Ekiga/Ekiga)". After setting it to default it worked again.
