In general it works better, however oddly enough, the larger the size of the text box i try to drag, the larger the slow down i experience.
For example, i opened a new text box with the text "Hello.". If i drag the small text box, it works OK. If i expand the size of the text box (without adding text, just pulling the edges), the dragging process becomes much, much slower. When the text box size is about the size of the presentation sheet, the slow down is really lagged. I'm using ubuntu 10.10, all updated, on the same HW as before.
