I had marked this bug as a duplicate of bug 656279. However, my problem is resolved by doing the following:
1) Use grub fix from bug 656279: cat >>/etc/default/grub<<EOT GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_sleep=nonvs" EOT 2) unmount my SD card and physically remove it from the card-reader on the front of the T410. 3) Suspend Prior to following the steps above, the system never actually suspended (screen just had a flashing cursor top-left [screen was still *on*!]). Now, I can suspend OK. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 656279 NVRM: os_raise_smp_barrier(), invalid context! -- Partial resume with Thinkpad T410 (using NVidia Quadro NVS3100M) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/669905 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
