Thats good question Maximilian My Aspire One have ssd disk with 8GB space signed sda and also two slots for SD cards. I have in first slot SD 30GB and second slot 8GB cards.Unfortunately these cards is not bootable. But resolution is. At the install Lucid Linx I have partitions splitted. Boot in sda1 100MB (this is few) /root in sda2 2,5GiB , swap in sda 1,5GiB and partition signed xp ntfs 4GiB also in sda. Partition home is in SD card signed mmcblk1p1 with the manner 13GiB, partition usr mmcblk1p2 8,5GiB partition var mmcblk1p3 2,5GiB. The residual space in the mmcblk card is partition helper. All partitions Ext3 exept for xp ntfs. Second slot is for 8GB sd card signed the ethernity mmcblk2 designed for backup. And why partition boot? When boot is not be splited from /root sector, computer not boot for me. Today I resolved my problem with boot itsy-bitsy. Heureka. I am buy CD live Lucid Linx . With the risk awareness go at gParted and first diminish sector /root about 300MiB , second magnify sector boot from 100MiB to 400MiB Update the computer resolved my problem after.. God bless the gParted jan
