The language-support-input-ru package was considered obsolete and
intentionally deleted before the Lucid release. Hence it seems to me
that there is no remaining issue in this bug report that is left to be
fixed, so I assigned it the status "Invalid". If you think I'm wrong,
please change the status again and try to clarify the problem.
