Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: indicator-appmenu
I have noticed a slowdown in response time of my desktop in general,
especially on nautilus commands (opening, searching, indexing, and so
on...)
When checking on my system monitor, the appmenu indicator applet
registered a whopping 1.3 gb of memory in use...
As soon as I deleted the applet and killed all nautilus processes and
gnome panel to force their restart.. my system became it's usual snappy-
response self.
Is this a known issue?
Please fix as this could most probably prove to become a massive show
stopper for underpowered systems in terms of memory hardware.
Thanks
