My testing (on a clean install) showed that after installing Banshe through the Software Centre: - You get a notification panel icon (there should be no notification icon, or indicator applet - only the sound menu enabled) - Banshee always closes to panel (it should only do so when music is playing, if music is not playing it should close)
Seeing as Banshee is going to be the default music player in 11.04 it is important we get this right "out of the box" (without installing extra plugins, etc). I have no doubt we'll get it sorted.
