Public bug reported:
I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10. All the relevant decryption
software is installed. The way Ubuntu's default DVD/media player, i.e.,
Totem Movie Player, plays DVDs is unwatchable. The refresh rate is about
one frame per second - regardless of the size of the player window. VLC
media player installed on the same system plays the same DVDs well
(after initial manual set up).
