Can you please quit evolution, and, on a terminal, run:
$ /usr/lib/evolution/e-addressbook-factory
and then run evolution again and try opening the Ubuntu One addressbook?
Then, please copy all output in the terminal and paste it here

Evolution lost Ubuntu One contacts, there still in the Couchdb database though
