I would suggest that you report the two separate issues as different
bugs, outlining the steps needed to reproduce what you are seeing
(including useful files like screenshots and X logs) as well as well as
details on what is expected.
I suggest that when you run into a graphics issue, open up a terminal
and run the following command:
$ ubuntu-bug xorg
** Package changed: ubuntu => xorg (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
