I am using feisty beta and also cannot use Amaya 9.53, as it gives me the
following errors:

11:35:13: Error: Cannot load resources from file
'file:/usr/bin/lib/amaya/resources/xrc/TitleDlgWX.xrc'.
11:35:13: Error: Cannot load resources from file
'file:/usr/bin/lib/amaya/resources/xrc/Toolbar.xrc'.
11:35:13: Error: XRC resource 'wxID_PANEL' (class 'wxPanel') not found!
*** Amaya: Irrecoverable error ***Segmentation fault (core dumped)
However, I am able to install and use 9.54 from the Amaya binary
downloads page.
