Hrm, ok well thanks for trying to run it through the debugger. My
suspicion is that this crash is resolved with the newer audacious
codebase, but a lot has changed so without deeper debugging info we
couldn't begin to isolate what may be crashing.
Fortunately, since you're on an LTS you can still get technical support
for it - see either www.ubuntu.com/support, or askubuntu.com if you'd
like free support.
I'm going to close out the bug report at this time, since while
technical support is available for the LTS, we're generally don't do bug
report on audacious for such an old release except in special
circumstances. However, if in debugging it further you identify a patch
or the section of code where the crash takes place, feel free to reopen
and we can look into helping sponsor an SRU for your patch.
