problem description idententical to bug##543086 except the light is
always on
The mute light indicator is always on irrespective whether mute is on or
off. however other light indicators volume + / - work properly. Also
this issue did not exist in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit version. i have done
a fresh installation of 10.10 version.
