Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Using current OOo in Ubuntu Feisty.

I was working on an assignment from my online university—provided in
Microsoft Word format—and was able to edit it just fine to complete the
assignment. When I went to save the document, however, OpenOffice.org
crashed. The recovery wizard comes up and OOo restarts, recovering the
document intact. I attempted to save this several times with the same
problem. I then attempted to save the file in ODF, which was successful.
However, when I attempt to export the document to Microsoft Word, it
crashes. Apport is not detecting the crash, or, if it is, it isn't
generating any information on it—and there is no OOo crash data in
/var/crash. I would like to be able to provide more information, though
I am not quite sure on how to do that since the regular crash-handler
system doesn't seem to work in this situation—if there is a link on how
to manually attempt to collect this data, I will be happy to provide it.

I will attach the document in both original and completed form (the
original is the copy from school, and the completed one is in ODF,
because I can't save it in MS Word format without causing OpenOffice.org
to crash.
