If I may offer a suggestion: If i were you I would look at what is being started and try to identify audio-related applications and services that might be taking over the pulseaudio services in the same way that randomsound did for me. That may have nothing to do with your problem, but I know that it did solve the problem for me, so it's probably worth checking.
