Public bug reported:
Running 10.10 with all updates as of today I get a kernel oops in
intel_ips. X doesn't work on 10.10 for me and neither does sound. I've
reported the sound bug separately but I have a suspicion that my
graphics problem might be related to this. My symptoms sound like Bug
#648631 (but this is a kernel bug so I'm raising a new one).
Unfortunately I haven't managed to use apport to collect info but I can
attach dmesg, /var/log/messages /var/log/syslog and lspci -vv (run from
under 10.04). I've had to wipe my 10.10 for now and re-install 10.04
but when I have some time I can try again and collect apport output.
