Finally after many tests, it seems that the trouble is on the kernel side... If I start Grub with kernel 2.6.32-25-generic instead of the 2.6.35-22-generic (used per default with Ubuntu 10.10), all seems to work perfectly again!
The trouble with the new kernel, that I can see with the seconds in the time clock bar, becomes more and more frozen, after the computer is switched on since many minutes... It seems, that if I launch something doing many things the seconds works normally for a few perdiod... after they will jump again. I can see time like that (without using mouse/keyboard): 18:39:45, 18:40:01, 18:40:20, horrible!!! Hope it helps. -- gnome terminal very slow keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/674401 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
