Hi, I cannot provide precise help unless I know the exact version of ntfs-3g you use (type "ntfs-3g --help" obviously on Linux).
What you say about "Application Data" seems to indicate that this is not a directory on Windows 7. If you are using an old version of ntfs-3g, you have to put your files into the symlink target (this could be \Users\Jacob\AppData\Roaming, but check this first). Since ntfs- 3g-2009.11.14 the symlink is supported by ntfs-3g. The references you indicate are relative to the object_id file (file nr 25), which Windows uses to track a file which has been deleted from a shortcut still present. This has been fixed since ntfs-3g-2010.3.6 (but the shortcut remains unusable). If you have another type of problem, please indicate your mount options and the exact steps to get the error. -- Windows 7 reports files copied by Ubuntu 10.04 as " corrupted and unreadable" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/675290 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
