Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: apport
When I want to inspect a bug report, I'll often expand one of the
triangles to see what information apport wants to send to Launchpad.
When it has collected a large amount of information, such as when it
decides to include a very large log file, the apport window slows very
slowly, and jittery in chunks.
If I had to hazard a guess, it looks like the scrolling algorithm
depends on the amount of the text in an exponential fashion, like O(n^2)
or something.
I'd expect it to scroll as fast when it has a 1 GiB of text to display
as when it has 1 KiB.
